Dr. Jalaj Baxi

Considered a national expert in the field of Surgical Oncology, Dr. Jalaj Baxi is renowned for his groundbreaking work in providing treatment of various forms of Cancers. He attained his MBBS Degree from RNT Medical College, Udaipur. In the later years, he achieved MS in General Surgery from the same institution. He also possesses DNB from National Board of Examination, Delhi, and Fellowship in Surgical Oncology from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute. He has obtained several specialized trainings, such as, Training in Cancer Surgery from Bombay Hospital, Training in Head and Neck Cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, Diploma in Basic and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at Gem Endo Surgery Centre, Tamil Nadu, and Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopic Oncologic Surgery at Japan. He carries an extensive experience of 14 years in teaching and guiding medical professionals. He has served as a faculty in several prestigious institutions, such as, Manipal College of Medical Sciences at Nepal, Mahatma Gandhi National Institute of Medical Sciences at Jaipur, Gujarat Cancer Research Institute at Ahmedabad, and Bombay Hospital at Mumbai. He has also been appointed as an Examiner for University Examinations of Kathmandu University. Dr. Baxi is an acclaimed surgeon of national repute, and carries a surgical experience of more than 20 years. He has been associated with several distinguished hospitals, such as, Choithram Hospital, Indore, Vivekananda Hospital and Research Center, Moradabad, and many more. At Manipal Cancer Center, he was designated as the In-Charge of Surgical Oncology Division. He holds key memberships in institutions, such as, Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, and several others. He has authored numerous national and international publications, and is the co-author of several textbooks. He is an active speaker in national and international conferences.
