The  Director and HOD at the department of Medical Oncology, Haematology & BMT in Fortis Hospital Gurgaon, Dr Vinod Raina has over 36 years of rich professional experience in his field. Before joining Fortis Hospital, Dr Vinod Raina was associated with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi as Professor and Head of Medical Oncology department.Dr. Vinod Raina has performed 250+ transplants personally and under his aegis at AIIMS, the team had performed more than 300 transplants for different cancers – which is the highest number of transplants in India in the last 10 years (includes about 250 allotransplants). He has a special interest in treatment of breast cancer, lung cancer, blood cancer (Acute and Chronic Leukemia, Lymphomas) and Gastrointestinal cancer. Dr Vinod Raina has performed the first high-dose chemotherapy and peripheral blood transplant in India in 1994 and has extensive knowledge in medical oncology.Dr Vinod Raina has been involved actively in research and has chaired more than 50 research projects at AIIMS. He has more than 200 research publications to his name in national and international journals.
